A teacher at a high school in Walkerton was suspended in late November after allegations were made by a female student of inappropriate touching.
The OPP have not released any information on the investigation, however, the Brockton Police Services Board took the very unusual step at its December board meeting when it met with newly appointed school officer Greg Clark behind closed doors to discuss the case.
PSB chair Charlie Reidl later told The WHT?that the officer told the board that the matter would be “dealt with in the courts”. However, no information has been released as to the status of the investigation or any pending charges. A call to the Walkerton courts determined that no charges had been filed as of Tuesday morning. The teacher remains on suspension with pay.
Attempts by The WHT?to get information from the OPP about the status of the investigation were unsuccessful as of press time.
